Job Description

The junior information management employee will perform the following activities.

Structuring, searching and processing information and data flows by:

  • filtering, searching, processing and initially analyzing incoming data streams;
  • filtering relevant documents from the data streams and transferring them;
  • advise, assist and instruct internal and external customers in the field of data and information processing;
  • the clear archiving and presentation of the information in the central storage locations (both in digital and hard copy form);
  • providing management reports based on monitoring and quality assurance of products, documents and authorizations.

Enriching/deepening existing information for intelligence (part) products by:

  • carrying out operational activities for the timely and correct implementation of documentary information management activities and archiving formal (digital) documents;
  • providing information for reports in order to present or explain the products;
  • participating in discussions regarding information management within the MIVD to increase one’s own insight and that of others;
  • ensuring all necessary activities (uniformity) within and between MIVD products.

Registering and unlocking information and data flows by:

  • registering and processing incoming and outgoing data and information;
  • storing the incoming data correctly by applying the correct naming convention for further disclosure;
  • unlocking and managing data by uploading it into information processing systems;
  • creating and managing various templates and overviews and making them available within the IHU;
  • storing (un)classified information in the (work) archives in accordance with the applicable regulations;
  • ensuring correct application of the obligation arising from the Wiv in the field of registration and disclosure of information and data.

General support of the IHU by:

  • ensuring timely and correct implementation of documentary information work, including user support for the organization;
  • correctly process requests from internal and external customers;
  • the implementation of central information management, including the archives.

Job requirements

Knowledge/Training:

  • MBO work/thinking level;
  • communication skills and customer-oriented;
  • able to develop in line with developments within the field.

Experience:

  • experience in using DM systems;
  • experience in the field of information management and/or information management;
  • experience within the government domain, defense or intelligence and security.
