(Senior) Cyber Security Analyst
Job Description
At our client, you will help shape the digital transformation in the finance and insurance industry. At the interface between IT and banking/insurance, you will ensure that customers can rely on their IT infrastructures around the clock and are empowered to innovate digitally.
That is why cyber security is a strategic necessity for our customer. The good thing is that we work with state-of-the-art technologies. Our customer is 1-2 years ahead of other service providers in the field of security.
To ensure that this remains the case, a new Cyber Resilience Center is currently being set up and experts with various core competencies are being sought.
Tasks
The SOC is currently being rebuilt from scratch. A new team is being put together for this purpose. You have the opportunity to contribute your knowledge in the field of SIEM.
You have creative freedom in the following areas:
- SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NIDS and SOC tooling
- Incident Response, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Event Triage
- Cyber Defense Processes and Frameworks
- Vulnerability Management
- Forensics and Malware Analysis
- Big Data Architecture
Profile
Must have
- Training in computer science
- Min. 3 years in SIEM and/or as a security analyst
- Fluent German (min. C1)
- Fluent English (min. B2)
Personality:

Nice to have
- Experience in project work: Can you tackle larger projects on your own? Then you can also start here as a senior.
Aside from that:
The SOC is currently being set up in Canada. Here you have the opportunity to make your contribution on site for up to six months. Would an overseas assignment not be for you at all? Then this is probably not the right position.
